Adebayo Adelabu, former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has emerged as the Oyo state All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate following a primary held on Sunday, September 30, at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.

According to punch news, Adelabu emerged after Joseph Tegbe, Adeniyi Akintola and other aspirants willingly stepped down from the race.
